The Skill Atlas stopped being a personal matter of every character. Points, collected beacons, credited bosses, quests with rewards and open teleport points are now shared across the whole account: what you opened on one character is available to the rest.
4build profiles
3points for level 105
30percent to duration
Shared progress
- Everything counts per account. The progress of your characters merged automatically on the first login after the update, and points were summed across everything already opened (20 August).
- Profiles are shared, builds are personal. A purchased profile is available to every character, while the node layout and inserted stones stay personal: builds do not overwrite each other (20 August).
- A reward once. A beacon, a credited boss and a quest give points, experience and spirit only once per account (20 August).
- Four profiles can be bought, renamed and switched freely. Extra ones cost 350, 700 and 1500 gold bars, and the tab names are unique for every character (22 July, 6 August).
Points and reputation
- Level 105 grants 3 Atlas points. Those who reached it earlier received the points on their next login (15 August).
- Beacons give experience and spirit on top of the Atlas point, and the experience book and Atlas bonuses apply to that reward too (17 July).
- Beacons and secret areas register even when you run straight through them: the small trigger radius used to miss them at speed (26 August).
- A hint on the points. Hovering over the point count shows where they came from, how many you earned and how many are left (1 September).
- Reputation for bosses and players comes with a system chat notification, but is not granted in the starting zone (9 July).
Nodes that started working honestly
- Prolongation. The node extends not only ordinary buffs but the Atlas effects as well: the Heavenly Onslaught, the invulnerability of the Jade Guardian Seal and the stack window of the Combo Master. The bonus is 10, 20 or 30 percent depending on how many nodes you took (11 August).
- The Inspirer works as an aura for the squad: members nearby receive 5 or 10 percent to experience and spirit. The owner of the passive no longer gets the bonus (21 July).
- Blood of the Night Shadow fully works on the archer: life steal triggers from any attack against summoned bosses (1 August).
The Twilight Temple inside the Atlas
- Effects survive a group. The health threshold is now tracked by the boss itself, which hands the buff to everyone fighting it, not only to the player whose hit crossed the line. Damage from poison, an explosion or a pet counts as well (11 August).
- Effects reach pets too: attack speed, reduced damage from a summoned boss and the invulnerability of the Jade Guardian Seal. The pet invulnerability works narrowly, only against that boss (11 August).
Order in the profiles
- An empty profile correctly resets all bonuses of the previous one (14 July).
- Switching profiles is forbidden while you have an active battle pet, a summoned creature or living plants: creatures used to keep the old Atlas bonuses this way (14 July).
If you played several characters, open the Atlas after logging in: the points are already added together.
The dates in brackets are the updates the change shipped in. These news posts come out later than the changes themselves: there was simply no time to write them.
