Installing the client
Download the client the way that suits you.
The direct link, a torrent or one of the cloud mirrors will all do.
Turn the antivirus off before unpacking.
Some antivirus programs delete client files by mistake, because the build carries no commercial certificate.
Unpack the archive into its own folder.
Pick a drive with enough free space and keep the client out of the Windows system folders.
Add the game folder to the antivirus exceptions.
The client and the launcher need it: an antivirus can block or delete game files during an update or a start.
Start the game with Genesis Launcher.exe.
The launcher checks for updates, shows the news and starts the client already up to date.
